Our Community Outreach Ministry is a team of volunteers who provide various local outreaches in our community.

L'Arche Daybreak
L’Arche Daybreak welcomes adults with intellectual disabilities to explore their unique talents, share their gifts and grow in relationship with others. Assistants who live, work, and learn with them are drawn to our community from all over the world seeking a different way of life. L’Arche Daybreak is an example of how people of different intellectual capacity, social origin and culture, can live together.

Yellow Brick House provides life-saving services and
prevention programs to meet the diverse needs of
individuals, families, and communities impacted by violence.


Salvation Army
The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world. The Salvation Army offers a variety of services and programs for members of the communities that we serve. These activities are motivated by a belief that each individual possesses an inherent worth and dignity. It is the goal of The Salvation Army to restore dignity and hope in the lives of those we serve through these programs as they experience times of need.
Mariann Home
Mariann Home is a non-profit long-term care home owned by the Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood and operated by Catholic Health Sponsors of Ontario. The home is licensed to accommodate 64 long-term care residents. Mariann Home provides a caring home for those requiring significant assistance. Inherent in the care of our residents is the Christian dignity, worth, and individuality of each individual we serve.


360 Kids
To prevent homelessness by helping youth at risk or in crisis transition to a state of safety and stability. The name 360ºkids refers to the comprehensive approach that the organization takes to assisting at-risk youth and surrounding them with care, recognizing that these kids need a wide range of supports to help them rebuild their lives.
This holistic approach is enshrined in our slogan: Surrounding kids in crisis with care.
360ºkids now serves over 3,500 youth, each year from every municipality in York and this number has grown significantly since our move to the Richmond Hill Hub operating the youth hub and offering even more essential services to youth. Our staff represent many cultures and experiences and have earned a reputation as leaders in offering high quality, innovative programming to the people we serve.
Krasman Centre
The goal of the Krasman Centre is to serve as a physical hub and resource for the community of Psychiatric Survivors and their Families and Friends serving York Region (Richmond Hill main location) and South Simcoe (Alliston satellite location) of the Central Local Health Integration Network.
We offer and operate all of our programs through two drop-in centres, with a variety of peer support, mental health recovery* and social services programs serving people who experience mental health extremes or labels as well as people who experience homelessness.


Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge Canada is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18+, that is part of a network of over 19 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada and more than 1,400 worldwide.
The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens.
Our mission is to demonstrate God's love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
Richmond Hill Food Bank
The Richmond Hill Community Food Bank is an independently run, non-profit, non-government agency, founded to provide temporary emergency food assistance to those in need. Our strength is found in the generous support of the citizens of Richmond Hill and Thornhill, as well as in the community and faith-based groups, corporate supporters, and our staff of volunteers. Working together, we can make a difference.
