Our Jr. High Ministry is an exciting place for students to connect, grow, and develop relationships with their peers and leaders. Our Jr. High Ministry team wants to see students receiving Christ, growing in Him and developing an intimate relationship with God through prayer, reading the word, worship, and learning to serve.

We have 3 goals in our Jr. High Ministry;
To build relationships with students that foster and encourage students personal growth in their relationship with Christ
To teach students biblical truth and help them establish a foundation for their beliefs
To offer and provide support to students as they face challenges within their schools, communities, and homes

Safety
Our Pledge to Families: Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church is fully committed to providing a safe, secure, nurturing, and Christ-centred environment for all infants, toddlers, children, and young people. All ministry leaders and volunteers are thoroughly screened, effectively trained, and meet or exceed the requirements of our Plan to Protect Child Protection Policy. We take seriously our policies to promote safety and prevent mistreatment and we work diligently to ensure that our best practices are following consistently in every ministry. We welcome any inquiries regarding our Plan to Protect Child Protection Policy.

Sunday Mornings

Wednesday Nights

9:30am & 11:30am

Students join the main service in the sanctuary for worship and announcements and then at the start of the sermon, Jr. High students are dismissed to attend their class located in the Lower Level. All Jr. High students must check-in and check-out using our computerized Check-In program before heading to their classroom, located at the front of the Lower Auditorium.

6:30pm-8:30pm

Our team focuses on discipling students through messages, discussion, worship and events. Our aim is to build a relationship with each student and minister to them through our example. To keep up to date with what’s happening each week follow us on Instagram or pick up a calendar in the church lobby.

Small Groups & Teams

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

For our Wednesday Night Jr. High Program, our students are broken into two groups which they are part of for the year. These groups serve as teams for our game time and small groups for our discussion time. We want our students to build connections with their leaders and other students so that they can grow in their faith and build a genuine relationship with Christ.

Check-In/Check-Out Procedure

For added security all students must check-in and check-out when attending our programs using our computerized check-in program. All students must be picked up by an adult and the tag provided at drop off must be presented. If it is your first time visiting with us, allow yourself a few extra minutes to register your child for our program.

Only authorized and identified volunteers are allowed within the Children’s Ministry areas on Sunday mornings, all other visitors must be pre-approved and identified to security and team leaders.

Check-In

If you’re new to out church, drop by our kids check-in desk to register your child. If you've already registered your child, visit our check-in desk to sign your child in. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tag stickers that are exclusive to you. Your child will need to wear the name tag sticker throughout the service while you hold onto the matching sticker.

Check-Out

After the service is complete, you will return to the check-in desk, sign your child out electronically and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to your care.

During Service

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear in the corner of the screens in the Sanctuary. We ask that you exit the service and come to the Lower Level check-in desk.
