A special thank you to all our Summer Students and Volunteers for making our Summer Camp and Community Fun Day a HUGE SUCCESS!!! We were able to witness to 127 children and their families at our month-long Camp and serve over 500 people from our community at our Fun Day this past Saturday. Thank you to everyone who served and participated in our outreach!

Job Opportunity at RHPC for Pastoral Administrator

The Pastoral Administrator works professionally with the Lead Pastor to direct and facilitate pastoral ministry and oversee the operations of the main office.
Position: Full Time Salary
Benefits: Eligible for health benefits after 3-months of employment; eligible for Retirement Plan following 6-month probationary period
Start Date: Fall 2022

  • Regular attender of in-person services of RHPC for at least one year
  • Church membership is not required however the candidate should meet or exceed the qualifications of church membership:
  • A clear indication of having been born again (John 3:5-8)
  • Baptized in water by immersion (M 28:19)
  • Living a consistent separated Christian life, in accordance with the teaching of the Word of God (Rom. 12:1-2)
  • Faithful in church attendance (Heb 10:25)
  • Financially supporting the church with the Lord’s tithes and our offerings (Hebrews 10:25, Malachi 3:10)
  • Minimum Canadian Permanent Residency status
  • Minimum College or University graduate (copy of diploma or degree requested)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a previous administrative role
  • Strong proficiency in written and verbal communications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, team-oriented, resourceful
  • Computer skills in standard office software; social-media familiarity; web-design
  • Maintains confidentiality and professional boundaries; integrity is above reproach
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for ministry-related travel/errands
  • Criminal Record Check and Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) required
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates with the Lead Pastor, Pastoral Team, Board Team, and Ministry Leaders to advance efficient ministry operations
  • Assists the Lead Pastor in Sunday ministry with regards to pulpit readiness, hosting special guests, promoting special events, funerals, weddings, and other ministries
  • Cordially and professionally receives and responds to calls, emails, and walk-ins
  • Maintains church database with accurate, current, and accessible information
  • Oversees all digital and print communications such as website, social media, ministry schedules, bulletin boards, resources, forms, connection cards, etc.
  • Coordinates various church events, conferences, fellowships, vision nights, prayer meetings, and business and ministry meetings
  • Performs other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Lead Pastor and Board

Reminders While at Church

1. Church Security: To ensure building security, our ushers regularly monitor our main and lower floors including classrooms, offices, and stairwells.
2. Fire Routes: Keep all fire routes clear - vehicles obstructing our fire routes will be required to move.
3. Unsettled Infants: Parents are kindly requested to use the nursery in the lower level to ensure their infant is not a distraction in the service.
4. No food or drink in the sanctuary: Please keep the sanctuary clean and tidy.
5. Main Floor Restrooms: Please use our main floor restrooms during the service located in the lounge. The lower level restrooms are for our kids church programs.
6. Don't get a ticket! All vehicles parked on the street must be "nine metres" (app. 30 feet) back from the intersection.
7. Cell Phones: Please silence your phone during the service.
8. Video Recording: We request that there is no video recording of our services as it is distracting to others.
9. Lost something? RHPC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. See our Lost and Found in the lower level foyer.
10. Colds and Flus: Please protect people from the spread of cold and flu viruses. If you are unwell, please rest at home.
11. Refreshment Lounge: Our Refreshment Lounge is available to our ministry teams who are serving in both services.
12. Exiting the parking lot: Please use the east laneway to exit the parking lot.
13. Has someone asked you for money or a ride? If someone approaches you asking for money or a ride somewhere, please kindly decline and report to the matter to the office.
14. Has someone solicited you on church property? If someone approaches you soliciting for their private interests, please notify the office at your earliest convenience.

How to Give

Give Online
If you wish to give online you can do so using our church website and the tool to the right. You can give a one-time, weekly, monthly, or annual gift using a card. Simply enter the amount you wish to give, select the fund you would like your giving to go to (ex: General, Missions, Building, etc.), choose the frequency, and hit next. Enter your payment information and follow the prompts to complete the process.

For those who bank online, e-transfer is now available. Send your tithes and offerings to mjeremiah@rhpc.ca. This email address is for Mirna Lewis-Jeremiah, our Financial Administrator, who receives a receipt of your deposit for a record of your charitable gift.

Give In Person
You can give your tithes and offerings in person by dropping off your donation in one of our secure drop boxes located in the sanctuary, church office, or at the side of the church building in the parking lot. A reminder that cheques should be made payable to, "Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church".

Mail A Check
 If you wish to give and are unable to give using any of the methods listed above, you can mail your tithes and offerings to the church. A reminder that cheques should be made payable to, "Richmond Hill Pentecostal Church".
